[Date Prev][Date Next][Index] Chat with Joe Nickell on the Shroud of Turin
Chat with Joe Nickell on the Shroud of Turin http://www.csicop.org/chat/index.html Monday, April 17, 2000 Could the Shroud of Turin possibly be the burial shroud of Jesus of Nazareth; or is it a late medieval forgery? Tomorrow evening is the perfect opportunity to field questions and get answers from an internationally recognized expert. CSICOP Website will be hosting a chat tomorrow, Tuesday, April 18, 7:30--9:00 pm Eastern time, with Shroud of Turin expert Joe Nickell. Nickell will be laying out the historical and forensic evidence that places the Shroud's origin in the 14th century a.d. You can link to the CSICOP Chat Room at: http://www.csicop.org/chat/index.html Nickell is author of Inquest on the Shroud of Turin, and has written several articles demonstrating the science that excludes the possibility that the Shroud dates to the 1st century a.d.
