"Miracle Photo"
Did God send a shaft of light through the heart of a Medjugorje
visionary? |

To my untrained eye, the photograph appears undoctored, and the flashes of light can probably be attributed to a lens flare due to a backlit picture (the picture on this page is heavily retouched, click it to see a larger, unretouched picture). I tried to locate a Theresa M. F. Marten in Los Gatos, but was unsuccessful.
The Medjugorje photograph might cause alarm to film buffs. In the 1976 film The Omen, starring Gregory Peck, a similar photograph is uncovered.

The subject of the photograph comes to an untimely end: a lightning rod plunges thorugh his chest. Other victims in the movie find themselves hanged or decapitated, all predicted through photographic anomalies.

Perhaps the faithful should notify Vicka (the Medjugorje visionary), or at least be careful not to stand near her outside the chapel.
